Commitment to Education
Fido’s strives for continuing education and as such are members of The Dog Gurus. All staff at Fido’s are trained rigourously using their Knowing Dogs 101 and 201 training packages.

Puppy Imprinting
Get the best of both worlds with Fido’s puppy imprinting. Regular daycare socialization and puppy class rolled into one! Have your pup reinforce what’s taught in class during the day while in daycare, so there’s less hassel for you!
5 weeks of imprinting starting at $1175 plus tax
Daycare
Fido’s is open Monday to Friday 7:30am to 6pm for your daycare needs. Extended hours change for Holiday periods. Dogs get a good day of indoor and outdoor play with toys, playground equipment and of course plenty of friends!
FULL DAY
5+ hours of play for $31.50
Full day package: 10 days for $315, 11th day free
HALF DAY
1- 5 hours of play for $22
Half day package: 10 days for $220, 11th day free

Fido’s has always been the premier shuttle service in Stratford with door to door pick up and drop off all through the city and beyond!
Not home? No problem. We arrange safe pick up and drop off for all our clientele.
Take a one way ride for $6 or round trip for $12.
Training
Your dog deserves the best. Fido’s is a fully certified canine behavior training facility. We offer a variety of classes and packages to help your dog develop and grow in an ever changing world.
LEVEL 1 TRAINING
Learn the foundations of dog training with a combination of lure reward and positive enforcement shaping. Your learning includes: basic commands, Sit, Down, Stand. Collar grab game, rock solid recalls. Foundations for walking and mat work. Puppy problems such as biting, chewing, crate training, potty training. Adult problems such as jumping, barking. Tricks and manners. All while having fun with your dog!
5 weeks of learning starting at $250 tx incl.
FIDOS PUPPY PAWS IMPRINTING
Puppy imprinting combines all the essential knowledge of puppy training classes with the fun of daycare socialization. You get daycare and training all in one for puppies 8 weeks to 6 months.
Each session starts with a group puppy training class where you and your puppy will learn things like sit, down, recall and more!
Throughout the week, up to 5 days a week, your puppy joins the daycare group to learn how to dog, while continuing to get training during their day. At the next group class you and your puppy will continue to grow your knowledge to be reinforced in daycare during the week. Call for availability.
WALKING 101
5 week walking class to help your dog navigate outside distractions and on leash meetings. Call to inquire about upcoming classes
RALLY-O AND SCENT WORK
For dogs who need a challenge and mental stimulation. Call for more information.
New Clients
Becoming a Fido’s dog is simple and easy! To ensure every guest is safe, happy and well cared for, we need to get to know you and your playful friend.
1.
Download our New Client form to your computer
and fill it out prior to coming in with your dog.
2.
Contact your vet office for your dog’s
vaccination records. Your pup can start daycare as young as 8 weeks, so we require all our guests to have Rabies, DHPP (Distemper,
Hepatitis, Parainfluenza and Parvo) once they are old enough to receive each vaccine.
All guests must be
spayed or neutered by the age of 7 months. You can also have your vet send
vaccinations to fidosplayground@gmail.com
3. Email, call or message us on Facebook to set up an appointment for your dog to come in for their trial day! Appointments are done between 7:30am-9am Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. We require your dog to stay a minimum of 2 hours on their asssessment trial day.

About Us
Fido’s was born out of a love for animals and a need in the community for an excellent animal care provider. From one woman’s desire to see a positive environment for dogs, Fido’s has grown into one of the top choice’s for training and daycare in Stratford.
Fido’s playground opened May 7, 2007 and has been in its current home on Monteith since 2009. An open concept 2500 sq ft playroom provides freedom and fun for your dog to roam; while allowing you to see into the space where your puppy is during the day. The fully enclosed 1000 sq ft outdoor space also allows ample space for your family member to run around.
Fido’s playground is owned and operated by Cheryl Mayberry-Smith a certified canine training behaviorist and Canadian pet dog trainer. She continues to serve her customers with the best in canine behavior training and psychology by attending seminars, classes and conferences from the likes of Dr. Ian Dunbar, Patricia McConnell Ph.D and many more outstanding positive dog trainers.
Fido’s playground is a place for dogs to come and make friends while learning proper socialization in a safe and secure environment. Dogs of all shapes and sizes play together like they’ve been living together in the same house for years. And if you need a little extra help with your dog, whether it’s basic training or behavioral issues, Fido’s provides a wide variety of options to suit.

I recently just moved to Stratford and my little man Oscar is so anxiety riddled where he never wanted to greet other people, barked at other dogs on walks (he also likes to sing the songs of his people real loud) and ever since my vet recommended trying doggy daycare he has changed so much. He will let people come up and say hello, he doesn’t fly off the wall when he sees another dog and this has all changed since I started bringing him Fidos. I couldn’t recommend them more, they treat every dog with so much care and it shows, I couldn’t have asked for a better place for Oscar to go hang out while I’m at work!
